ABOUT US

As a South African registered non-profit organisation, Inkcubeko ne Qhayiya designs and implements programmes and projects that focuses on life skills and behaviour change, youth skills development and entrepreneurship, career guidance / mentoring, youth development through various sectors, civic education, environmental awareness and water literacy, human rights advocacy for youth with disabilities and the restoration of ubuntu. The purpose of the organisation’s focus is to contribute towards nation building through youth development.

ARTS & CULTURE

The programme uses sports, arts, crafts and recreation initiatives with its objective being to empower and develop participating youth. Desired outcomes (what should be achieved in 10 years time)

  • Design, implement, establish and then replicate the identified initiatives
  • Develop and use a toolkit to measure if the initiatives are achieving desired outcomes
  • Visible impact (behaviour changes) in youth participating in the initiatives, e.g. young people and youth at risk leading longer and healthier lives
